well... i simplified the explanation... each individual tank will have water flow down the overflow pipes to my filtration system and then from the filtration will pump back into individual tanks the 'clean' water....

Overflowing water go there.
It leads to the filter.

my SS pipe now got algae, not shining already, must find time to 'polish' it up... hahahahaha... but its still cooling the tank well... a difference of 0.5deg from the tank without... this is quite a good chilling difference in my opinion....

How does this SS pipes work for cooling multiple tanks? I understand that the cooled tanks can be of different water parameters hence I'm very intrigued

The ss pipe work as like cooling coils imagine your fan coil. Your tank is fan coil the ss pipe is coil. Water = gas coolants.

but i also use a SS pipes to chill my 2nd tank.
