is this your breeding tank or showcase tank? if for breeding, just keep the front panel clean will do. let them grow on the other 3 sides for more food for shrimps.
thankfully, unlike my previous setup, where algae grow all over the plants
this time, they are on the glass, spreading like fire
what could have cause this?
other than using magnet cleaner and glass scraper
what is the best way to clear them in shrimp tank?
thanks a million
my plants look healthy

i put 2 oto in my 2ft feeder goldfish tank and it cleared this kind of brown algae in less than 24hours.
this is my 1 and only office tank

I think oto should be able to take care the brown algae. As for the green spot, you need to clean manually
oh, nerite snail will do the job too. in this case, you can actually use 3M microfiber sponge to clean the glass up too.

Hi bro,
Can use melamine sponge to clean the glass up. But you'll probably have it coming back fast if you don't have fast growing plants and a balanced nutrient in the water. The green spot is particularly fond of low phosphate
i have xmas moss, us fissiden, hornwort and frogbits in my tank
will intro a couple of otto to resolve the brown algae problem and scrap off the green spot
thanks all
you can use ottos to clear the brown algaes and nerite snails to clear the green spot algaes.. or another alternative is to use a sponge to scrap the tank
