    i tink i will get the cr-600 w/w lights.heard that now all cr-600 comes in r/w.anyone have lobang?

    anyway,in this case...i will be selling my current light holder.comes with 2 FL.1 36W ....the other...dunno wat watts...but is pink colour.anyone interested?

    Guess my lighting isn't really overkilled. But I believe it will be better for BLuezing case should he put in more lights and "overkill" his 2 ft deep system.

    I think you were the one who helped me out in the Blyxa Japonica thread where I asked the question of putting in more FLs to accomodate for its lack of penetration in a 2ft deep tank.

    But Sherwin, IMO, the watts/gallon(or lumens) rule may not apply that well for a deep tank, bcoz in the end, plants like Blyxa Japonica is still going to grow above the gravel surface right? Please clear my doubts! Thanks!

    To me, 2ft height is not a deep at all. A 2 ft height with 3"~4" of substrate will come up to 20"~21" of water which FLs have no problem penetrating.

    You didn't mentioned your full tank Dimension but if it is a 2 feet cube, get a singular pendant MH. It will definitely looks better and have more space for you to work in it (can put nice fan too). The price will be around the same or even cheaper than power compact I think...

    ah nope...mine not a cube.mine is a rectangular one.width abt 1ft+ abit
