Hello

I wish to check is a Co2 reactor necessary or put the tube directly into the tank will do?
What is the use for the reactor?

you'll need some form of reactor or diffuser.
such devices will increase the amount of time a co2 bubble stays in contact with the water column before it floats up to the water surface.
just putting a co2 tube into the aquarium will mean wasting >90% of the injected co2.

bro, recommend you use a glass co2 diffuser, it will give you finer bubbles (like mist) which prolongs the contact time of the co2 and the water. it will help increase your co2 dissolve rate.

the glass diffusers are very cheap, no need to get those branded stuffs. i bought mine for only $5 at C328.

if you want to further increase the co2 dissolve rate, get a reactor. either external or internal will work fine, but internal reactors take up space in your tank. external ones will be hidden from view.

i got tried NANO diffuser but unable to produce bubble ..guess either my diy pressure too low or the diffuser defect ...meanwhile using wooden air stone which also give fine bubbles
