us fissidens requirements

all my us fissidens are tight on ss mesh, resting above the soil
currently using pl 36w 6500k for my 2 x 1 x 1.5(H) feet tank
is the lighting sufficient or should i upgrade to T5 2 x 24w?
must i dose any ferts or co2?

my water parameter are
ammonia nitrite 0
nitrate 5ppm
ph 6.8-7
temp 22-25 degree

which tube is better for plants?

10000k or 12000k? or other recommendation?

I use T5 2X24W 10000K, not sure if 12000k would be better but my US fissiden are fluorishing into fluffy mats =D

other then tat, I do not dose fertilizers and just keep them with my sakura shrimps. I wouldnt say its a demanding plant considering it fluorish in my noob hands =P

just make sure ur water is cold and their not blocked from the light ~

im using 36watt lights for my 2 feet standard tank. the normal tank lights bought at Na..

No ferts or anything.. put inside my crs tank.

Same here...I had a full carpet in my 10L nano and its growing beautifully...nice green lush fluffy carpet.

No particular special treatment...juz dose excel like 3 times a week...light is only a 9W PL...everyday with 4 hrs onz only...but my temp is low (cuz tank in office...aircon free) kept at 20.5 constant and weekend 24.

Top up water every 2-3 days...change 1-2 cup size once a week
