What's stopping you from going to Takashi Amano's lecture?

I'm surprised by the lack of interest in Amano's planted tank lecture in KL. What's holding you guys back?

I think is the distance across the border. I wont travel so far just to see someone to perform/lecture although i like planted scape. If is in Singapore i dont mind at all. IMO.

Perhaps if the organizer has concrete layout of the lodging, transportation, admission fee etc as a whole package in detail form, there might be more keen participant. More organise planning will saves the trouble of people from worrying this and that. Sounds more like spoon feed if you ask me but that's what most people prefer and more successful. Just like a travel agency, everything plan for the tourist. IMHO.

Not everyone has the means and time to travel there

What's your budget?

Transport by coach: Approximately S$25 to 30, one way. Return would be slightly less then double.
Accommodation: Approximately RM200+++ per room per night. We can arrange for twin or even triple share of a room, which would bring down to about $S50 per night.
