light reflector

Hi all,

am intending to get those light reflectors used in those shopping centers and shown in the DIY section of www.petfrd.com for DIYing my own lights. I am currently using a acrylic light hood from CR and the lights are squeezed towards the back as the front of the hood has a hole for feeding fishes if u know what i mean. I DIYed it bfore to hold 2X36W PL from the single FL initially used.

Anyone knows the price of those reflectors and exact place to get them? and hoping to do something in my free time to DIY another light set. think they selling 4 ft standard size so i got to saw into 2. each of the piece dont know whether can hold 2 PLs in parallels?

I bought mine for $11 from a wholesale hardware shop. Both, 2 & 4 ft cost the same.

it should be at blk 30 kelantan lane.
one shop is called china hill and the other is lian eng(think so).
there are 2 types of aluminium reflectors, single tube and double tubes.
they come in 4' lengths and you can cut them easily with a heavy duty scissors.

If you ask ard some shop will let go at abt $10.00. Just have to ask you can try 168Lighting shop along Jalan Bersah Road. Beside the POSBank. They also have the PL Clips for the 4pins 6500K tubes. Abt $2.50 or $3.00 each.

For those living in the west, you can go to the row of light shops along the road beside Chinese Garden MRT, about 10 bucks for the reflectors.
