Yep, managed to breed successfully in my 1ft tank. In fact two of the females are/were berried. One has already given birth and can see small shrimplets. The other due soon.

Used a second hand resun CL200 chiller with shiruba 301 canister filterto maintain temp- a bit overkill but gets the job done. Temp between 23 to 24deg. Used rain water to start the tank as slightly acidic together with gex soil. Use old sea mud and mineral plus to bring GH up slighlty. Minimal water changes - every month or so about 10% water change with rain water mixed with a bit of mosura mineral plus and old sea mud.

Oh but using a chiller for just 1ft is it worth it?

Yeah, started off as an experiment and intended to move to a larger tank but havent gotten down to setting it up so left the current tank as is since CRS appeared to be comfortable.
