I don't know if this is the right place to post this topic; so please pardon me, moderators; and shift if it's indeed at the wrong subforum.

I currently have a 1' cube tank situated just right beside my television and was wondering if the moisture from evaporated water would be harmful to the electronic. Asking this as it crossed my mind when I'm contemplating adding another tank (low profile one) right in front of my television.

Would deeply appreciate all valuable feedback. Thank you.

    Re: Tanks beside TV?

I don't think evaporation from a fish tank (whatever the size) is going to affect the TV. The main worry will be accidents/spills during water change and or cleaning/fiddling with the tank/plants.

If you want to be safe, put it further away, especially if you have kids around, or an "unstable" stand.. Think it's more common sense on accident prevention/ease of maintanence than the 'science' of water in the air. ;-)
