    Hi all brothers and sisters,

    Need some advise on chiller.
    Should i buy a brand new chiller(resun CL280) or a 2nd hand chiller(hailea - not sure the model).
    Please advise.
    Appreciate all your help and advises.

    Oh.. 1 more question.
    If i do purchase a chiller, what else do i need to fix together with it?
    Currently, i using a overhead filter with fully submerge powerhead in the tank.

    Have you confirmed that given your water flow rate and volume of water you are going to chill, can both chillers achieve your desired temperature?

    Does a 1.5Feet tank need a good canister filter?

    It depends largely on your fish stocking level. If your tank is heavily stocked, its better to go for a canister filter that has more rooms for filter media.
