Hi Eviltrain,
From my naked eyes, i can see through some weird colour like "orange" around its body.
Actually the saddle will be at the back of the shrimp. A bit orange de.

Oh I see..
All i can tell from what i see through is there like few oranges ball-like things around the belly till the back of the shrimp.
What should i do with it, If it is ready to breed?
As i read through forum.. the water temperature i had now is bad.. 28.3 degree to 28.5 degree.
I think i going to get a chiller for my tank, but not sure my overhead filter fit the chiller or not as its powerhead need to be in water to suck out water,
which i know it will be bad for shrimplets( if there really are)
Please guide me more on this.
Thanks alot
There's some standard setup in the forum that you can follow. Tank to canister then to chiller then back to the tank.

I suggest not to make any changes now since it is breeding. They may drop the eggs if there is a sudden change in the environment. Just my 2 cents worth of thought.

I see.
Let see what happen for the next few days
bro, sounds like you did not follow the traditional way of setting up using a cannister filter. the bad news is, getting your shrimps to be pregnant is easier than making the offspring survive. good luck.
Hi Kendrick,
Are you saying about me?
Currently i do not have any cannister filter and chiller.
today i will be collecting brand new chiller and of cos will buy cannister filter.
Any suggestion to add on before i went to collect them?
yes bro, referring to your setup. you are thread starter ma. maybe low grade shrimps can breed in low tech tanks. however, i wouldn't recommend too much fluctuations of temperature for shrimplets as raising them are certainly harder.
suggestion wise, do look out for the flow rate of cannister filter to go with your chiller. and with cannister filter, you will have to look out for better filter medias that will provide the same surface area for bb growth as your ohf, despite reducing the media that you can squeeze into your cannister. maybe can run both concurrently. however, i reckon heat transfer rate will be higher.
Oh ok.. I will look out for the flowrate of the cannister later when i collect.. what kind of filter medias you recommend?
i am using bio home plus and eheim substate
oh ic.. thanks =) what the temperature best for breeding? intend to get higher grade CRS after having my chiller
if u look at the forum, most will stick with slightly below 25 degrees.
There alot of sayings.. lol i intend to make it 24 degree which hopefully for everything to do well and fine =)
