try checking your parameter like pH level and etc. i believe it one month 1 or two death is normal, but if its keep on dying there must be something wrong. did you did a water change last few days?

    What shrimps are they?
Have you cycled your tank? If so, did you test for nitrite & nitrate levels?
    What's the GH and PH?
    What's the temperature?
When you bought the shrimps, did you acclimatize them slowly before introducing into the tank? Or just dump them in right away?

All the above can contribute to mortality rate

    Re: shrimps always die

actually i din really test my water level just let nature take it course but i do have the seachem ph indicator showing the color of 6.8...

i cycled my tank initially by changing water and stem plants just as normal cycling procedure after a month i took them all out...

nowadays i will change bout 20% weekly and top up water every now and then as the water evaporate very fast with a fan on 24hr.

i kept easy shrimps lyk sakura and cherry shrimps as it is my maiden try on shrimps, not prepare to shelve out a sum for CRS, adding on i cant buy a chiller for it (

my tank officially no more shrimps now

    Re: shrimps always die

Reasons that i can think of:
    1. were your plants sold in dry condition or submerged? might be pesticide (if sold in dry condition)
    2. did you acclimatize the shrimps properly?
    3. nitrite/nitrate/ammonia level?
    4. chloramine/chlorine?
