    Errr.... apparently he had not got any fish inside yet...

    You might have to wait till you plants starts to decompose for the cycle to start... keke... Go add in 1-2 tiger barb lar!

    Goondoo, have a heart for the fishes please. Planted tanks don't need to be cycled like normal fish only tanks. Just get some fresh mulm from established tanks and add it to your filter and substrate(not possible now) and its done. The other thing is to get plants growing..once they are growing well, they remove lots of ammonia and NO3.

    Err.

    You said that you are using 3 x 15W of FL lights. Are you sure cause you are also using an overhead filter. I don't think that you have sufficient space
    I using 1x dual tube holder and 1x single one. Plus the filter, all of them sits just well on the tank. Anyway i've long removed the filter from my setup, going to get a internal filter later.

    put biohomes in ur filter.but u gonna get another filter..then i tink not necessary oredi.

    I bought the cheaper $40 Hanna PH pen. First time I notice is it is not waterproofed. Drop in water, its circuit got wet and the unit can no longer be recalibrated. Leave the pen on accidently and again recalibration is needed. Special solution is needed to recalibrate too. I think its better to use those cheap test kits instead.
