Anyone has experience keeping arowana in planted tank? I intend to keep one in a planted tank in the near future. Would appreciate the sharing of problems and solutions.

well, take note you'll never be able to keep otos and yamotoes.
    otherwise, most aro's ignore plants.

maybe going with the rosette types like lotuses, echinodorus and crypts.

hey jason, I too have a dream of keeping arrowana in a planted tank.. but having one is a great headache, slow algae eaters r out of the questions, shrimps (i think malayan shrimp can be used if the foregrd is well covered) the choice of plants shld be low maintenance

I'm planning for next year's aquarium setup. Most likely it will be a 6 footer. Hey lsz, saw your posting on your green at arofanatics, how much does it cost? If u cannot reveal here, e-mail me.
