My shrimp lost her lost eggs....

hi to all, I m new in keeping shrimps recently 2 of my blue tiger shrimps had eggs. but the sad thing is 1 of the shrimp drop all her eggs in just 3 days. Is there anyone out there to tell me what is the reason behind it?

Hi it can be few factors, stressless create by no place to hide if tank is too small. it also cab duel to water parameter. see is it drop off or it molt off togather with the old shell. if yes it may be water parameter or maybe duel to inexprince mama.

Please correct me if im wrong i also just started it about 2 months ago.

btw veggie your blue tiger shrimp is it gold colour eye can show some pic on it? if is the gold eye can tell me how much u buy from? cuz im intrested also xD

pardon my stupidity, but even though the eggs are lost, aren't those fertilized eggs too? so they would still hatch somewhere in the water? :P

Hmmm.. Even if so, sometimes the eggs might perish even before hatching, eg snails eat eggs. As the fragile eggs also require constant fanning, the eggs might perish if they are dropped from the female resulting in mold growing on them.

Hmm... i think is about 30+ i am not very sure. cause my tank can't keep them. the temp is too high.

sometimes they just do that. may not be due to any reason especially first time berried.

hi hi veggie congrats, i got my blue tiger shrimp from other places.... theres a treade saying he buy his at 10 per pcs!!
im not sure buy my is way more exp from his...... but my blue is very dark blue. im setting up a rack now. so after that i;ll post my blue tiger shrimps

hi lostfaith. where you get your blue tiger? for your info try to set your PH at around 6.8 and above, cause i tried to keep mine at 6.5 and below they are weak.
