Hi everyone, my moss is growing well and spreading nicely but it's quite dirty as the fern trap quite a bit of dirt over time, how do you guys usually clean it and maintain it nicely?
I normally try and clean the Moss during Siphoning my Tank. I use the Siphon itself to dust away the residue on the Moss and works nicely for me.
I use my hand to fan above the moss to cause a little movement, this allow the dirt to detach from the moss then siphon away during water change. That should do the trick.
Thanks for the reply! How come i didn't think of that haha, mine is a 36cm 2.9 gallon tank which I usually just use scope to scope out the water for change, I think siphon will do the trick!
I never clean my moss before but how about using a brush?
Or we should not disturb them at all?
