Hi guys, need some advise from u. I bought 1 pair of Fl light (brand - Aquatica) for my 2ft tank from Sam Yick four days ago and has on it for 24hrs a day. This moring, I discovered that certain plants seem to "bend away" from the light. Is the light intensity too strong or the plants die of over exposure?
Currently , I am using a overhead filter with activated carbon. Is it ok for planted aquarium? Any advice for me?[]

24hrs a day! That is too much for the poor plant. Are u just starting on planted tank? Please do a search or look at the faq section.

Why is activated carbon unsuitable for planted aquarium? I've no idea at all. Anyway my tank is 60x45x45. Lamps using are 15 watts each. Any comment?
