    Hi all,

I just came back from West Coast Plaza, saw the Philip LED T8 tube in an exhibition and was wondering if it is suitable for planted tank. Is anyone using it for planted tank, would like to hear som review on it as I am thinking of getting it for my new planted tank setup.

I found some comparison detail here: http://www.tbkopto.com/PDF/Tube-e.pdf

But no mention if the spectrum, so not sure if it is good for plant grown.

Hope to hear some comment on it.

    Thank you.

    Regards,
    BH

it is not available in the market yet... that was just a trade show. But prepare to pay a super premium for it.

I just got the reply from Philips that the lamp is not suitable for plant grow. By the way, it cost close to $100 for a 17W 3 feet tube.
