    Hi guys,

Got a pair of this, but don't know what it is.

    Apistogramma sp. "something"

Came as contaminants with some other South American shipment. Picture was taken when the fishes was just introduced into the tank, so there isn't much coloration. Probably still quite stressed from the transportation.

    Any idea?

    Cheers,

Thanks! The first two rays of the dosal are black, so I think it may well be a agassizii afterall. It's just that this seems more bluish instead of the usual red ones that I see.

Anyway, here is another picture showing a more detailed caudal fin. Since it's not pointed like the male species, this probably means it's female.
