vampire crabs

My male vampire crab died on me and I am looking to replace it. Has anyone seen vampire crabs for sale at any lfs recently? Much appreciated.

I have seen them for sale at yishun 618 recently.

Thanks. I'll go take a look. That's where I got them from about a month ago. Bought the last 3, small and I suppose the weakest. One female died within days. The male a couple of days ago.

How recently was this, by the way?

I saw some at PetMart Serangoon North & also C328.... you can check them out.... both is last week....

On the other note, my vampire crabs were wiped out by the office rodent. Now all I have is my baby ones and they are safe only because I cover their tank securely.

Went to Y618 yesterday (Sunday) and bought the replacement. Bright red eyes and black as night legs. Really vampirish. Went to Petmart first. No vampires but had other crab species.

Was rudely woken up this morning by my son. The new male had escaped and went into his bathroom. Puzzling as there are no tubes, wires, etc. trailing out. Must start covering at night.

Shaihulud, sometimes the simplest solutions work. If you want them to be really safe, foster them out. Let me know if you need a foster owner.
