Where to buy female ram?

I was wondering where to buy female rams as all I see in the LFS are all males and any idea how to differentiate males from females?Any help will be appreciated.

Females have slightly shorter fins, more rounded bellies and purplish color on the belly when in breeding condition. You can find them occasionally at C328 or any other LFS that stocks Rams. Note, this sexing method may not work for Balloon Rams due to the deformed body shape.

If in doubt buy sexed pairs sold by the LFS. There was a time when they sold German Rams in pairs. Whether or not you got a compatible pair is another issue altogether. Since some Rams do not take well to each other.
