Hi Bro, I think different places in Singapore have different PH level. My place at bendemeer has 7.3 PH but here at sengkang is a bit higher at 7.8!!! So not really good for apistos, unless I buffer with ph reducing substrate or peat.
Anyone experiencing tapwater with ph of 7.6. I live in commonwealth area, will like to check if the people that live near me also have this problem.

i have a hard time getting my ph down to get 30ppm for CO2. though my area have high ph, now then know other area even worst. really very taxing on the CO2, need to top up more frequent.
Me at west also high ph. I use peat to lower ph to 6.8+-
in my tank since it's not an co2 tank.
Aerate age water with bagged peat and when it has reached
the desired ph then use it for tank.
However l still need to monitor ph level.
