    CAn i do this...

So i already have a mature fresh water tank with about 2-3" gravel.

So can i top the gravel with sea sand to 6" and slowly add the marina salt day by day to achive the normal sea water level. since the BB are there already... than to start everything clean??? shorten the cycle period???

    any expert can advise?

    nope..

    the gravel is no good.

only coral sand will helps to buffer the high PH needed.
(8.3) the lousy gravel u have now, can't make it.
dun save n then later find that your fishes keep dying.
