hi guys, i have an urgent need to know your favourite LFS when it comes to shrimps. preferably has reasonably priced products and offers good service. location don't matter. thanks alot!
my 100 gallon tank:
- 23 blood parrots
- 2 high-fin plecostomus
my 10 gallon shrimp tank:
- sakura, cherry, malaya, orange, snowball, tiger, bamboo
- 3 otocinclus, 3 assassin snails
My favorite lfs for shrimps and equipment are na and colourful. Both lfs is located at balestier. Too bad uncle Richard from colorful is going to move to west coast road. If not balestier is a must visit places when i getting stuff for my shrimp rack.

West you can try C328 in clementi but you must know what you want and get as the place is always packed with people.
North you can try Y618 in yishun and Seaview in Seletar.

Has helpful staff who knows what they are talking about if you find the right person.. I think each person is dedicated to one section only..
The things there are quite cheap. Also, i realize that they have everything that i need there.. if dont have, they will order for you.. Up for their service.
I agreed with eviltrain, kenng and calvin with their choice too.
As for Serangoon North, their service and knowledge; Great! salute them.. but as for their quality of shrimps... nothing compare with colourful...

i agree on your points of PetMart. i frequent PetMart often and acquired my malayan shrimps, rock shrimps and many mosses from them.

i just came back from colourful and NA. colourful has really awesome shrimps but shop is a tad shabby. as for NA, i bought ALOT of stuff from them today haha. its a nice shop with a wide range of equipments. shopkeeper and assistant were helpful too. thumbs up for both of them!

I agree on PetMart because its near my place.. hahaha.. there is this chinese guy which is very helpful.. normally i just drop him an sms of what i need, then i pop by... haha...
Colourful & NA are a 'scary' place to go... normally just a casual look around feeling to go there.. end up buying shrimps or stuff back... poisonous place (at least for me)...

I would agree that NA and Colourful are the best one-stop place for me to buy shrimps, equipment and stuff. Both at same area with good products at
reasonable/cheap prices.
My favourites are Pasir Ris farmway 2, 3^_^
If keeping Exotic shrimps are easy then there will not be Exotic prices.

Haha theres alot of good stuff inside . You need a ride to get in there =)
