Fish and shopping in Taipei?

Will be visiting Taipei for about a week next month.
Anyone here has good recommendations on the LFS to visit?
Have seen some pretty nice images via Taiwanese magazines previously like Aquazoo, did not notice if they had a detailed listing of ALL Taiwanese LFS?
Hope to hear some recommendations!

There is a stretch near the bridge at Ming Quen Tong (East) Road. Around section 5 or 6. Can't miss it, the taxi drivers all know. Aquazoo will have a listing of there shops as well. Some are worth visiting. Like Qiao Yi at Ming Shen Tong Road. Have fun!

Plenty! I don't even know where to begin. But if you are not confident/experience with livestock, don't bring them back. Stick with aquarium supplies, decorations and publications. Filters cannot be used in Singapore because of the different voltage.

I'm in Taiwan now and paid a visit to the famed Ming Quan East Road Section 5. Must say I'm sorely disappointed Unless I missed something, it's nothing compared to HK's "Goldfish Street".

The only things of note that I saw there were:

(a) a sign displaying "New Arrival" with the Chinese name of Corydoras hastatus. Upon enquiry, I was informed they were sold out upon arrival
(b) many not so common pencilfish, including N. marginatus (it's not rare, but not commonly available in Singapore) and the very rare N. eques...It was the N. eques that made my trip down "worth it" for me
(c) Relatively nice specimens of Apistogramma bitaeniata, A. agassizii "Tefe" and Dicrossus maculatus

Everything else was a disappointment to me, as I had my expectations up to something nicer than HK's "Goldfish Street"

Hey Yixiang...I'm sorry i missed you while i was there.I was there a week before you.
Fortunately,i got to the corydoras hastatus before you!I bought every piece they had to offer there! I'm guessing you saw them at these 2 shops?

It's corydoras season again here at Ming Quan Lu!
For amphibian lovers the dartfrog variety here is insane.I'm tempted to start a vivarium just to house them!
There's a slight revamp here with exotic pets shops converting to partial aquarium,making it easier to buy something you like.
Will update this thread with updated pictures after my return so stay tuned.

What kind of fish available? How's the apistogramma market there these days?

Aldofois and several unrecognizable species of corydoras?
Apisto wise not alot this time round..heard from shopkeepers there apistos not as popular.
I would say monster fishes and oddballs are the trend there now.
Plecos are so so...
