The parents can survive 3 days, but not the fry. They need to constantly feed otherwise their growth will be stunted. Try and get an automatic feeder with a fine-grain dry food that the parents will eat. The fry should be able to feed on the fragments the adults chew out and pass through their gills. Alternatively, get someone to come over and help feed your fish, or if you cannot trust someone to do that, turn off all the lights at home, including the tanks with the parents and fry. This way, their metabolism falls and the only time they will forage is during daylight hours or whenever the ambient light enters the tank.

Feed them well just before you leave for your holiday, and feed them right away once you return.
