Though the tank looks bare, but i find that it looks quite ok due to the nice Log you have there. You can leave it bare and let the beautiful fishes be the center of attention in the tank or you can add some ferns and nanas in it. Try not to add too much DW in there and keep things simple. BTW i can see you have quite a no of tanks..... Do share pictures of the rest of your tanks.

hi aquarius, thanks for your compliments.
think we share the same view of a simple plain tank, will try to get some nanas to add on soon.

you're very observant, there's total of 6 tanks.
am setting the rest of tanks up one at a time, will post them after completion.

    cheers,

I presume from the 2ft tank on the right hand side that you're going to keep shell-dwellers? 6 tanks means 6 different concepts?? I can't wait to see how all your tanks looks like. What other concepts are you going for your other tanks?

Adding some plants on the wood will definetly be nicer. Nana prefer shady areas so maybe nana might not be suitable? Ferns should be nice! Maybe some back ground plants? Anyway why do i see a lily pipe in the second picture but no water coming out? LOL.

hi aquarius, got 1 tank up for shellies but not decided what to keep in other tanks yet.

hi equidorz, would probably tie moss and nanas on wood to spice up the tank.
    thanks for your suggestion.
by the way, you got sharp eyes, just sold off lily pipe.

    Re: New3ft tank setup

You have two 3ft tanks on the left side? If so, one of them keep Tropheus and the other plecos or one tropheus and the other a tanganyika community tank. I have three 3ft tanks - one tropheus tank, one pleco and one planted but the planted tank will be converted into another tropheus tank in a few months time. Here's a good website to go read up first if you do intend to keep tanganyika http://www.cichlid-forum.com/index.php

Haha, why sell of your lily pipe? Not good? Anyway another thing to add in, the stone on the right looks abit out of place as well..
I like your tank. Seem to be of high quality glass.
