Looking to buy a snail or two to clean up my tank but I don't want them to reproduce. Any recommendations? I read that nerite snails lay many eggs but they will not hatch in a freshwater tank. Will the fish eat the eggs or will the eggs be left lying around?

The eggs will remain for very long...they may eventually fall off, but there'll still be a white mark remaining where the egg was glued to.

netrite is actually a general term for all species that looks like the netrite we're talking about.

there are some bigger netrites which won't lay eggs on your glass..
