Anyone here has Echinodorus Quadricostatus in their tank? Do I plant it like glosso and is it a fast grower?

Seen some pics of it and feel like giving it a try, does ah pek sells it?

Plan to drop by ah pek to get some shrimps, hope he sells E. Quadricostatus. BTW, how do I describe the plant to him? I had some trouble getting plants from him last time. When I told him its scientific name, he went HUH? []

    Tks

Just seperate them into individual plants and plant seperately over the area you want them to occupy. Once they settle in they will start sending out runners, producing a new plant every few inches or so.

They spread pretty fast and can grow quite tall. Mine grow till about about half a foot tall. Chaq's ones grow to about a foot (see here).
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.

Yah, i think they are not suitable for foreground since they grow pretty fast and tall. Guess regular trimming is needed to keep them small. The emersed form look pretty small and suitable for foreground but grows bigger and faster when they are in water.

The hokkien name for e.quad i think is "swueh kian" if i never remember wrongly, meaning "small sword" but i think ill call it "dua kian" -> "big sword" []

I can pass you some if you need, let me know.
