shrimps again

hello experts.. wat is the best living condition for shrimps in a not so planted tank, got only 2 drift wood with plants....
wat the temp ph etc..
got a pair of yamato shrimps but died today morning after i change water yesterday, the fishes were very active after the water change... sad sad.. please advise

IMHO, Could be due to 2 reasons

1. The water you used is not delcholrinated. Not an issue if you change about 10% of water from the tap in my case. How much water did you change?
2. The pH of water or temperature of water may play a part.

Above is my views and may not be the real reason but at least my experience think so.

leave my water for overnite... so shld be ok... maybe stress

If your tank is too small and you are changing too much water at 1 go, leaving the water overnight may not be sufficient. Read up on "chloramine" to find out more.

Btw, "stress" has to come from something. E.g. stress from high ammonia/nitrite/nitrate concentration, stress from pH flucuations, ... Granted that there is no easy to pinpoint a particular root cause (at times, a combination of causes may be to blame) but at least you make a few good guesses. [:]
