Dear fellow brothers,
I would like to find out from you guys if guppies can live together in the same tank as tetra cardinals? If can, will the tetras disturb the offspring of guppies? I'm thinking of getting some guppies to add into my tank of 10 cardinal tetras.

Hi, should be ok if all young adults. Guppy do eat the newly born from what i know, but not sure will tetra family do same.

I would not trust any fry with tetras around, even guppy fry which are quite large at birth. Cardinals will attempt to eat anything that fits in their mouths, and that includes fish fry. As the saying goes, if it fits, it's dinner.![]()
