MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!! TIME TO LAY BACK AND RELAX!
A Journey Of A Thousand Miles Begins With A Single Step

Those Acipenser species of Sturgeon are on the CITES Appendix II list. They are not meant to be traded commercially without a permit I think. If you bring this fish into Singapore and the Customs find it, you will be fined without having a pre-approved export permit from the Hong Kong authorities.
See this for info:

Off track abit how would the fish survive the trip? Need special arrangement?

we cant bring any animal back to singapore...it a rules.

You can hand-carry certain species of fish back from any foreign location provided they are within the rules and regulations of the Singapore Customs and AVA. See below:
http://www.ava.gov.sg/AVA/Templates/...uest#importreg
AVA rules regarding Import/Export and Transshipment of Fish.
This section deals with the rules regarding bringing in live ornamental fish from overseas locations into Singapore:

Some people prepare fish and shrimps by packing them in re-usable breather bags and then into an insulated styrofoam box for added protection. Some just hand-carry them back, usually from places like Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

For hand carry baggage, we are bit allowed to bring so much liquid right? So it means we can only check in our baggages?I think the rough handling will definitely stress out any fish. Anyone here ever hand carry anything back?

Most airlines only allow 100ml of liquid for hand carry.
Hardly enough to keep most fish alive for the duration.
You will need put the fish in your check-in baggage.
Best practice is to put the fish bag into a styrofoam box and into your baggage.
For air travel 3L and 30 fish is the limit while the causeway allows 5L and 50 fish.

I brought some fishes back with no issues from the customs. However saying that, I recommend you check the pH and temp first. The water does get cold in the cargo hold. It is best you provide some insulation for them.
