    Hi all

    I was attracted by the Aquascaping tank. I just want to find out if my current 6ft tank with livestock can be decorate with some Aquascaping? My tank look abit bored with just some stones, bog-wood and sand.. Any recommendation or comments??

    Yeah sure u can. But u need to consider that different plants got different needs. U need to invest in lightings, Co2, fertilizers. Once u get these, ur imagination for aquascaping is the limit. a 6ft tank will look absolutely beautiful once u add plants in them.

    Can I do without co2 and fertilizers as i keep monster fish and ray.. Cheers

    I have 1 pieces green aro, 3 pieces doraudo, 4 pieces emperior red hook, 2 pieces of red hook, 3 pieces of ray, 1 red pikefish, 3 uaru, 1 L190, 2 tiger pleco.. Cheers

    I can only think of hardy plant like fern or anubias species tie on the wood.

    I am not into planted tank.. Please pardon me if I ask stupid question.. Could I tied the fern or anubias species without taking out the bogwood..

    yes you can but it will be very tough to do. You can use cable tie which will make live easier, don't tie to tight because you might endup injure the rhizome and kill it. Cut the cable tie after few months, the fern and anubias should stick on the wood by that time.

    The Red Hooks, Uaru and plecos will usually have a go at the plants. If you are really desperate, buy a bunch of Java Fern for $2 which usually comes tied on a block of wood to test. If it passes, you can buy more fern and try anubias as well.

    I will be getting a tub of stringy moss to go round the bogwood.. Does I need any cable tie to go round it? Cheers

    no you do not need.. instead use finer materials like fishing line or cotton threads.. those are softer and will not cause the moss to break..
