is there any copper traces in seachem excel?

i've tried using seachem excel to kill off hair algae in my tank but as the hair algae die, i noticed that some shrimps also died so im wondering if seachem excel has any copper traces or other toxic metals which are poisonous to shrimps

You may just be using too much excel. I use excel all the time with shrimp, with no death. There is no copper.
