Its safe. I'm using it now.
The copper is a different form in the fert.
im thinking of seachem fluorish but is it wise to do so as i had seen that there are trace coppers in them hence really do not know whether they will be toxic to shrimps.. im currently keeping sakuras, cherry and temasek shrimps..any experts to recommend the better ferts to use?

All plants need Co2...either u pump it in or u add liquid carbon. I think mosses r not so Co2 demanding...since my tank is only 10gal and I also have shrimps inside, I decide excel suits me better in this situation.
PS: I have narrow leaf, mini pella, pella and spiky moss beside the US Fiss inside the 10gal
Moss doesn't require high co2 emission from my recent 'tests'.. Flourish excel will somehow burnt mosses (and my expensive mini pelia, mini fissiden & mini xmas are all 'chao tar' once).. It might be good for plants like my HC & my rotala but dosage in a tank for me is more to algae control then moss growth.. Moreover us fissiden & the other mini mosses are slow growing flora, so give them some time & provide a cool water, good flow & they will grow in no time.. Check up on their good growth requirements..

I think u must have added them directly n maybe too much. I always mix a few drops with water before pouring them in.
I had a mesh of fiss showing slight growth of hair algae. I took it out n dump it in a small container added 2 small cap of excel...well the whole mesh turn brown n die together with the hair algae.
