LFS will not usually stock Jobe sticks, since these are made for houseplants. Look in plant nurseries (Thomson Road, Hougang South, Bukit Timah) or in the houseplant section of supermarkets like Cold Storage.

just get the horti indoor feeder or flowering plant versions (not sure what's hte diff).

jobe's sticks seems to be 45 for about 4.50 (some places sell them too expensive). while horti is about 4.10 for 30/40

    Thanks Simon
Horti sticks and tabs are readily available but not jobe sticks for whatever reasons.
I will be using it for my crypts and Ecinodorus .

are this safe for water plants and the livestock in the tank? can they be used as a primary source of fertilizer or just used as supplements?

this jobe stick, is it similar to horti stick? which is better? and since it's a NPK fert, won't it pollute the water if released?

    Ok guys,

Those who have doubts in the Jobbes Sticks:

Sometime ago somebody was asking why his Red Lotus was not growing nicely and Budak advise was it ran out of nutrients (or something like that). I too has a similar problem with my Lotus. So.... I plunged 2 pieces if Jobbes sticks near the roots of my Lotus and 1 week later, the Lotus is covering my crypts. It's growing large thick healthy leaves. No side effect like algae or any dead fishes as the fert is released in the gravel and not into the water column. This is not the first time I'm using the sticks. I used few months back but stop using it cos it was too much maintenance.

Too make a looooonng story short, the Jobbes sticks are good for the plants and it has little or no effect on the water parameter.

Juz my opinion based on my experienced ok......
    Cheers!!

Sherwin, bought some sword and lotus from Ah Pek, and he threw in some fert that looks like a section of jagong. what kind of fert is that?

Thanx DEA, so that's what the root monster look like! Well we'll see how it goes. The lotus I got from him is kind of weak-looking...
