How to use Ocean Free 1L CO2 Cylinder

I have some problems with my Ocean Free 1litre co2 cylinder, i have connected my regulator to the cylinder and turned the knob of the regulator open but there is no co2 flow. Can someone help to see if the knob below on the cylinder itself should be turned on? Refer to photo.

I think you have to turn on the knob below as circled in your picture Zack. Same thing with the standard size cylinders from other suppliers. One is the main output valve from the cylinder itself, the other is the control knob for the regulator. Turn the lower knob slowly counter-clockwise until you see the pointer in your gauge start moving the other way. Make sure you do this slowly until there is a noticeable flow of CO2 out of your regulator hose.

Thanks man, got it working....was puzzled for awhile with this mini cylinder...doesn't really look similar to those standard larger ones. Still...im trying to find a small solenoid for this 1litre cylinder, manual way is too troublesome.
