    bro, soon the HC will cover the whole area like mine... they are spreading and overgrowing... needs trimming soon.... (darn i hate trimming)

    hee hee, i got no worry as my water surface to hc height is around 20 cm nia. just use those long scissors to trim can liao.

    yeah.. i going have a back breaking time doing trimming... i think i also cannot trim too much at one time because the sap that flows out of the cut stem might not be 'shrimp-friendly'...

    Some updates-

    my CO2 tank died on me last night, going to refill at NA this coming weekend. HC / Hairgrass still growing well with Seachem Excel dosage. No photo update as it looks the same as previous ( maybe a "bit" more bushier ).

    It's a really beautiful Iwagumi setup and certainly one of the more unique ones on the internet simply due to the rock selection!

    hee hee. thanks for commenting. i'm just lucky that the LFS ( C328 and NA ) brings in this type of Shou rocks. Your setup is impressive too. love those detail journals.

    i notice that the shou rock when wet it becomes brown , is shou rock and dragon rocks the same ?

    From what i know, Dragon rocks are more greyish in colour when wet. They are made up of different minerals.

    no la, i don't wants to see the surface scums mah. the air bubbles breaks up the scums and keep the surface very clear.
