The numerous leaf shapes give the impression that it's much bigger than a 2ft tank!
Where did you get your Flourite from? Can't seem to see it commonly nowadays...
Looking back and comparing the crypts from the initial setup till now, it's really sad and frustrating that there wasn't much growth on them especially the smaller crypts on the front left and right hand side.Well at least the bigger crypts at the back shows a slight improvement during the yr though i would've liked and expected it to do much better.
Btw i've tried them on my previous 3ft tank using the same substrate and non Co2 and have gotten the same results.

I got the flourite from NA a long time back. I still have about 3 and a half packs that i need to clear soon otherwise may have to throw away. Do let me know if you're interested.

Yes i got them from NA. For me they just rot off from the bottom with no roots growing from there. There are occasions when the rot will start from the bottom and work it's way to the whole plant. Most of the stem plants that you see in the pic eventually had rot off to about half the plant over a prolonged period of time which i then threw all away. I've also had occasions when the rot start off from the top of the stem plant and work it's way down the whole plant. Very frustrating....and these are considered the so-called hardy stem plants.
What you see in the latest update of the tank didn't have that problem using the same plant Ludwigia.
