wow 1st look, it looks like a 3 feet tank rather than a 2 feet good job there.
Finally I'm able to share photos of my tank with you all after admiring and appreciating all your tanks. Feel free to comment, tank is still alittle cloudy so doing 20% WC once every three days. All shrimps are doing well so far, eating well and exploring around..
So far I've only done Ph test which is stable at 7 right now, i know i should really do the other tests and I'll do so when I have the cash, still a student so alittle heartpain to buy everything at one shot.
Amateur set-up! Still learning and hopefully set up another tank if parents allow!
Is she pregnant?
Thanks for viewing!
My last addition would be CPOs, perhaps next week!

Nice setup bro... How much it cost u...
The wood on the left was from my dad, pretty long ago. I dug it out from my storeroom. The one in the middle was from him too, from his workplace. The stones, i picked it up along the way to school. Washed and soaked of course. 2 coconut husk from a bro here. ADA II soil mixed Gex soil. Lots of moss on meshes. Roughly less around $100? Thats because both wood were from my dad

Hah, the coconut husk looked familiar! I thought you wanted to keep crays? Anyway nice scape!![]()
Yes CPO sold me those coconut husk! Keeping them in my 1.5feet, my sister woke me up in the morning asking me what are those under the crayfish belly! Then i realised she's berried.

whao nice setup. i'll be a happy shrimp in your tank =)
just note a few things, it looks like you're using an internal filter? just make sure that the input is covered properly or else the tiny shrimplets will sneak in. i also noticed the sucker fishes that you're using, i didn't have experience with them before, but are they shrimp safe?
Anyway, i like the tank! keep it up..and hopefully you'll see shrimplets soon!

Thanks for your kind comments, green palette. Still learning, learning and learning. Yeah i did wrap it with a coarse sponge but due to small split, one or two shrimps went up but i'm glad they survived. What do you guys recommend? something that doesn't require me to change too often like once every week or few weeks?
Those sucker fish are very small, bought from c328. Way smaller than otto, so i guess it should be safe. They are always snatching food though.
Hope i get to see shrimplets too!
Something to be happy about while waiting, in my other tank, my crayfish is berried![]()

Great work bro... Low cost n nice tank...
if you want to sustain your shrimp tank for the long run, i think it is better to invest in an external cannister filter. Plus you won't have to clean it that often =)

i agree with bro green palette. Get a pre-filter filled with those white wool, and stock up a 400-600 litre per hour flowrate external canister filled with media. that will be enough for your shrimp tank with basically no maintenance for the filter side.
oh, and you can be worry free if your shrimps population boom to like few hundred pcs ( not applicable to CRS )
