need help with tiger barbs

hey guys how do you tell if a tiger barb is pregnant? i got a tiger barb whose belly looks very swollen and i cant tell if it is pregnant or just fat...please help

If it doesn't have a red nose and no red edging to the dorsal fin, then it is a female. If it does not seem to be bloated, then it is full with eggs. They do not get pregnant (of sorts) like guppies etc.
