    hi all this is my simple apisto setup... currently there is 1 male 2 female of caca and a pair of macmasteri...

    using xmas moss on bogwood tied by myself with 36w pl light and co2...

    comments are welcome to improve the setup...

    I suggest you have a cover for this tank as apistos have the tendency to jump during "mini squabbles". Your tank height is rather short ><

    i purposely custom made this tank to be short as i dont intend to have any tall plants... note taken will go get a cover for the tank... any things to add for my tank for my apisto...

    I suggest you remove the lava rock( it may affect your PH ) and seperate the two caves further apart (to each end of the tank, so when they breed, you will have less problem as they will fight ).

    Thanks for the nice comment... My tank size is 2ft by 1ft by 0.5ft height... Custom make the tank to have a view of river bed view... Now waiting for my hc plant to form into carpet... Was still thinking wat plant to add near the caves to make the caves area look dimmer...

    Thanks brother for the idea... But I don't like java fern.... Prefer those big leaves or those crawling plant...
