Interesting question. How to get them to breed in the first place? To breed among themselves (own breed), needs a lot of hiding places and plants.

Anyone keep Emerald dwarf rasbora (Microrasbora erythromicron) and Celestial pearl danio together? I have read that they might cross breed... anyone one know this to be true for a fact?
I'm thinking of adding 20+ to my 40+ CPDs. But first I want to make sure they get along and won't crossbreed.

Sorry to ask this question here, any idea which LSF selling Microrasbora erythromicron?
Thanks
A friend had some Celestial Pearl danios in his 3 feet tank, he didn't do anything special and they just spawned. There were other fishes in the tank as well. He gave me the 30+ fry and I still have 2 survivals. Can't remember well, but I read somewhere that they are not that hard to breed, and so there wasn't a big worry that they are going to be extinct (in the aquarium trade) even though they are in danger of extinction in the wild. Anyone else can back me up?
Just to share pic of my Emerald dwarf rasbora fry.. only had one piece.. accidentally killed the other one when i was doing water change.
