It is indeed a young Fundulopanchax. Either gardneri or nigerianus. Where did you get this if I may ask?

Hi there, It is a non-annual speciesRelatively easy to breed species .
I remember having to see fries popping in the tank out of the sudden as the adult fishes do not eat their fry(or eggs)
It is a semi-annual species, and you can incubate their eggs on peat as well. Without a female however, breeding is impossible. The LFS do not actively stock females, and at times what you get may not be the "correct" female for this male.
