    What cannister for my setup

Im using a 1.5ft tank, with a chiller Hailea 100-A (flow rate is at 200L-1000L/H).

Currently looking into eheim cannister. Im leaning towards the classic series, as i have heard about quite a few bad experience with the ecco series (this break that break). *Jiang lao de la

For a 1.5ft tank which of the classic should i get, considering getting the optimum balance between the output into the tank and the chiller. My tank is a planted tank.

I'm trying to get the flow rate around at least half of the recommended of the chiller which is at around 450-550 l/h, so im now looking towards eheim 2215, with the medias loaded and need of pumping through the hoses and chiller i think the flowrate would drop to around like 450-500l/h?

Would like to get some advice here.

Or would a 2213 actually suffice?

    Eheim 2222 is rated at 500 l/h. 2213 is rated at 400 l/h, 2215 is at 620 l/h. 2211 is rated at 300 l/h.

The 2215 might suit your purposes, though I'd agree that it might be overkill for a 1.5 ft tank. Since the chiller's lowest flowrate required is 200 l/h, perhaps a 2213 or 2211 might do. I would go with 2213 though, just in case and like you said, with the media and pipes etc, it will cut the filter's output as the media clogs up.

The eventual output may or may not cause issues with your fauna. If they like strong currents then maybe you can get the 2215.
