some sort of cichlid.. but the colour's artificial i think...

Does this belong to the convict cichlid family.
Seen the original is White color with some orange, some might have small hump or "kok" on the head.
Nowadays so many dye with pink & blue.
Can be quite territorial especially when breeding.

I have a pair of the same too ! I love them to bits, been having them for about a year now

Is there a way to stop them from fighting? I have which bite any fish which goes near it.

i used a piece of clear acrylic to seperate them... sometimes they (one male one female) fight really hard, sometimes they don't. but most of the time they are peaceful together...
