    Re: Snakefish help

I'm not too sure about keeping snake heads, they might be 4" now, but they can grow really big and a 2 ft tank is definitely not enough.

    Re: Snakefish help

what species of channa are you getting ? they are categorize in three types as in dwarf/mid sized/giant

filter wise should be heavy filteration , feed it with frozen blood worm/brine shrimp/live feeders or can be pellet train

and most important is to always provide a cover for the tank

if you are thinking of long term , 2 feet tank might not be suitable for larger species , for 2 feet set-up only dwarfs are suitable

    Re: Snakefish help

Bro, just to share not advisable to keep a giant snakehead on a 2ft tank. I had a mid sized channa, the bugger broke 2 tank of mine while chasing for small fish!! So I believe your giant snake head will be able to do more damage.
