Installation of uv sterilizer

Hi, need some advice from members. I have a canister connected to a chiller. Should i install my uv before the chiller or after the chiller? Thanks.

Before chiller if you are one of those who believes the UV bulb will increase the temperature of water significantly, if not, as long as it's after the canister, it's fine.

Yes , would recommend before chiller. increase in temp will depend on the UV bulb watt. Nevertheless if your flow rate is fast, not much of different on temperture.

Thanks for the advice. It does make more sense or logical to put it before the chiller although I am only using a 9watts UV tude.
