Maybe a picture of the moss would help. It could be another type of moss and not weeping moss.

Friends
I recently got some weeping moss and tied them on drift wood. However instead of growing downwards the moss is growing horizontal or sometime upwards. The mosses are there more than 2 months.
The light is 6500 K and approx.3.0 watts/G. Temperature is 25 deg C. Water TDS is approx. 450 ppm
How to make this moss weep? Please suggest.

Kakaz

Could be it is not weeping moss at all because the shape is not that traingular as shown in your picture (Aquamoss). However the seller told me that it was weeping moss.
Can you suggest any online store where I can get genuine weeping moss ?

where do you get your moss? form LFS, AQ member or online shop? Weeping moss is one of the rare moss, so may not easy to get.

I got it from LFS. I stay at Kolkata. Please suggest a reliable online store to get this.

Kolkata India? If that case, you can try mizu world: http://www.mizuworld.com/product/detail/537

Thanks a lot for the information. How reliable they are (Mizuworld). Recently I put an order to one of the online shop and they just did not deliver rather came with all sorts of excuses.
Just going thru your blogs ! Excellent one !!.

I've been ordering from Mizu couples of time, they always deliver. However i never order plants. Mizu is based in Singapore, so plant local delivery is OK but not sure about overseas deliver. Few days or maybe even weeks inside box without light. Although moss is hardy, it is still something you need to think about.
