    Hi all,

I've bought this new Apisto for 8 dollars. I believe it is Agassizi. Anyone can confirm on this? Is this an easy fish to rear compared to Cuckatoos?

All apisto should be easy to keep.
If you've learnt, teach, if you have, give.

Is ya female bigger than ya male???
    I had seen this be4.
White eggs mean unfertile or fertile???
My Tri oso lays whitish eggs but they do hatch.

Anyway female apisto will be very aggressive when caring for their eggs..

    Need help here.
The fries tat was hatched 3 days ago went missing. No signs of em swimming wif mum. Wat could be the reason of the missing fries......parents ate em up? My tank is covered wif a newspaper and the last time i saw the fries was last night. Today they r all gone.

Is it possible for me to spawn them again? How long does the female start to develop its eggs again?
Sorry for all the questions, hope u can bear wif me.

    Thanks all.

Maybe you should observe a few days, perhaps they are hiding, are there any other fishes besides the apistos in the tank? It's good to have a few dither fish.

Is the male aggressive towards the fries, I experienced where the male eats the fries! that's where I will have to remove the male. Again every fish has different temperament.

I don't cover the tank with newspaper when there are fries... of course if there are too much traffic where your tank is, maybe that helps.

If the fries are really gone, they will breed again soon, maybe in a few weeks time
    ...I love rubies too ...

the fry will always be with their mother, there is another possibility, you have a bad mother who refuse to raise them and hand them over to the father. this scenio i have only witness once in my 6ft. at 4days old, the fry should be in their wriggler stage.. staying close to the gravel. be patient
